Welcome to our tranquil yoga hostel, where serenity meets community. Immerse yourself in the ancient practice of yoga amidst the serene backdrop of our peaceful haven. Our hostel offers a sanctuary for both seasoned practitioners and beginners alike, fostering a supportive environment for personal growth and exploration.

Trindade Yoga Hostel is the first yoga hostel in the Parati region. Founded in 1990, it is a reference in the area. Hundreds of yogis from all over the world have already passed through our yoga shala, participating in yoga classes taught by experienced hosts with over 30 years of teaching experience. The success of this blessed center led its owner, Ozzy, to increase the size of the platform to accommodate increasingly numerous classes, capable of hosting up to 18 people. 

Classes are held daily, in the morning at 7:30am and in the evening at 6pm Various types of classes are taught: hatha yoga, vinyasa yoga, and power yoga. Guided meditation sessions take place at sunrise on the beach or on the platform. The hostel also offers a program with specific and in-depth workshops on yoga, breathing, meditations, yoga dance, and much more.

Nestled in nature’s embrace, our hostel provides the perfect setting for your yoga journey.

CLASSES

HATHA YOGA (all levels)
90 min.

Classical Hatha Yoga is the origin of all yoga practices. It allows for deep relaxation, breathing, stretching and muscular strength. The full practice should be done gently with, listening to deep physical and emotional limits.
By maintaining the postures (asanas) with awareness of the breath, we optimize the benefits of the postures. Yoga should be practiced in a meditative state of mind.

VINYASA YOGA (inter./advanced)
90 min

 Vinyasa yoga is a dynamic style of yoga that synchronizes movement with breath. In Vinyasa practice, students smoothly transition from one pose to another, flowing through sequences that are often linked together in a continuous, flowing manner. Vinyasa Yoga requires previous experience in hatha yoga practice. Focus on the breath, consistency, endurance and knowledge of the body are needed.

POWER YOGA (advanced)
90 min

Power yoga is a vigorous and dynamic style of yoga that emphasizes strength, flexibility, and endurance. It is often inspired by the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga system but may incorporate elements from various yoga traditions. Power yoga typically features a fast-paced sequence of poses performed in a flowing manner, with an emphasis on building heat and intensity in the body.

YOGA WORKSHOPS

PRANAYAMA & MEDITATION

This workshop was created to give the opportunity to learn and deepen breathing techniques (pranayama). Breathing exercices involve a meditative state of mind. The practice of pranayama allows awareness of the breath and enhances our well-being.

SUN SALUTATION & MANTRAS
60 min

Practicing Sun salutation energizes the body, regulates the breath and focuses the mind in a sequence of twelve basic yoga postures. These mouvements promote great flexility in the spine and are beneficial to all levels of practitioners. By practicing sun salutations with the chanted mantras (sacred sound), the benefits of each posture increases.

YOGA DANCE

Yoga dance is a dance style based on the great yoga principles: self observation and acceptance of who we truly are.

Yoga Dance is a deep and powerful practice that reveals our authenticity. It allows us to express the freedom of our soul with joy, trough the spontaneous mouvements of the body. This dance is conducted on a precise theme. The rhythm of the dance is based on music according to the theme.
